11 Bavarian Corps

General Wrede badly positioned to drive enemy back across the river, but has redeployed his corps to meet the new threat.


Orders – Hold

5 Command Point

Artillery fire on enemy cavalry, total 8, 1 hit

Austrian cavalry test morale, total 5, pass

Move infantry towards bridge

Manhandle guns towards bridge


2 Austrian Corps

General Klenau must drive enemy cavalry back to advance


Orders – Move to Salzburg

4 Command Points

Artillery fire on enemy cavalry, total 5, miss

Change orders to “Engage”


Both cavalry brigades have received casualties, but both remain formed.

Summary
The Bavarians are now ready to advance on Salzburg, but must first drive off the enemy cavalry. Their artillery miss, and as a Poor commander Klenau must use all of his remaining command points to change his orders to “Engage” so that he can charge the enemy cavalry.
